Instructional Management Plan

An important aspect of instructional management is student assessment since this will allow teachers to measure how effectively the learning objectives were met. DISCUSSION TOPIC: A 5th grade teacher undertakes the Square of Life collaborative project in her class. She and her students are excited as they begin the project and start communicating with their partner schools. After a couple of weeks into the project, one of the school administrators requests that they withdraw from the project because of increased emphasis the school is placing on curriculum standards and testing. The teacher is requested to teach only reading, writing, and math because those are the subjects that students will be tested on. It is with much regret that the teacher withdraws from the project. How might the teacher have avoided this situation from the start?
