  1. Check E-mail daily and remain within your limited disk quota.
  2. Delete unwanted messages immediately since they take up disk storage.
  3. Keep messages remaining in your electronic mailbox to a minimum.
  4. Never assume your Email will be read by anyone except yourself; others may be able to read or access your Email.
  5. Never send or keep any Email that you would not mind seeing on the evening news.
  6. Be professional and careful what you say about others. Email is easily forwarded.
  7. Be careful about sarcasm and humor. Without face to face communication your joke may be misinterpreted.
  8. Don’t SHOUT WITH CAPS.
  9. Keep headers short and descriptive.
