Web Pages Revisited

In this workshop we will revisit web site design and posting.  Teachers will be introduced to Adobe Page Mill for web design and will use this tool to refine their web sites, which they developed in the summer session.  By the end of the session each web site shall contain the following components:

                        1. Student Instruction Area

                        2. Assessment Procedures

                        3. Related Classroom Activities

                        4. Additional Web Resources

Teachers may elect to select a spring project and develop a web page to support its implementation.

                            2. 9:30 – 10:30 – Introduction to Web Page Design Using Adobe Page Mill

                            3. 10:30 – 10:45 - Break

                            4. 10:45 - 11:15 – Review of Web Page Posting

                            5. 11:15 – 12:00 – Activity – Web Page Design/ Spring Project Selection

                            6. 12:00 – 1:00 – Lunch

                            7. 1:00 – 2:45 – Practice - Web Page Design

                            8. 2:45 – 3:00 - Evaluation
