Preparations for Last Workshop
Guidelines for Final Presentations
Friday, May 25, 2001 is the last Project LINK workshop. At that session, we are asking that all participants give a 10-12 minute presentation.
You will have access to a computer and a projector. If you need any other materials or equipment, let the trainers know.
Here is what you'll need to do
for this presentation: Note: The examples are only very brief clues.
| 1. | Show your web site. Describe how you will use it to make your curriculum more effective. | Example |
| 2. | Show the project you chose to implement in your classroom this year. Explain how this project fits into your curriculum. | Example |
| 3. | Give evidence for the positive influence of your training on your students. | Example |
| 4. | Briefly outline plans to encourage the use of Internet-based resources in your school. | Example |
Preparations for Final Evaluation
Because of time limitations during the oral presentations, you cannot give certain important information about your training experience. Therefore, we will be asking you to provide this information during your final evaluation.
Here are some of the items that
will appear on the final evaluation form. We are giving them to you now
so that you can provide thoughtful answers later.
| 1. | Discuss challenges you encountered during web page design and during the implementation of your project. Give an example that shows how you overcame one of them? |
| 2. | Explain how you plan to move from your present level to a higher level of usage of Internet-based applications in your classes. Include impediments, such as no computers, and what you plan to do to remove them. |
