No Child Left Behind--The President's Perspective
Content Material
  • Student Directions:
    •  
    • Divide into groups of two to four.
    • Each group will go to a computer and either view the video or listen to the audio file of President Bush's remarks after signing the No Child Left Behind Education Bill in 2002.
    • You will be provided a worksheet with questions to answer while watching and/or listening to the president. Listen carefully for the answers. If necessary, you may "rewind" the video or audio using the slider at the bottom of the media player.
    • You will have 35 minutes to complete the worksheet.
    • At the end of the allotted time, each group will share their findings with the class.
