Students will experience a well written and well
delivered speech. The speech
they will observe will be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream”
speech that was delivered on August 28, 1963 at the Lincoln Memorial in
Several speech communication concepts could be explored with this speech as the back drop or
as the foundation for discussing critical public speaking components, i.e.,
audience analysis or effective delivery techniques.
