T.M.T. Workshops
Teachers participating in this project will participate in a total of
40 hours of hands-on professional development comprised of following
sessions and full-day workshops, as well as a series of half-day
workshops scheduled for the Fall 2005 (dates TBA). Workshop topics and
content include exemplary, field-tested lessons and inquiry-based
activities that utilize computer resources such as software and
Internet-based resources to teach key topics in the mathematics
curriculum and on the GEPA.

Summer Institute:
The
Piscataway Public School district sponsored a two-day summer institute
to introduce a select group of middle school math teachers to the use
of select mathematics software and available Internet-based activivies,
resources, and lesson plans.
