Using the Internet as a Tool for Science Instruction

Participants will be provided with Internet-based resources. They can choose those from their content area of responsibility. They will have the opportunity to:
  • Explore some of these resources
  • Evaluate them for implementation in their classrooms
  • Devise a plan to incorporate one of these resources in their classrooms
  • Discuss ways to effectively use the Internet in a one-computer classroom

By the end of the workshop, each paticipant will have a written plan for implementing an Internet-based activity or project in his/her classroom.
