Using the Internet as a Tool
for Science Instruction

Purpose
Participants
will be provided with Internet-based resources. They can choose those
from their content area of responsibility. They will have the
opportunity to:
- Explore some of these resources
- Evaluate them for implementation in their
classrooms
- Devise a plan to incorporate one of these
resources in their classrooms
- Discuss ways to effectively use the Internet
in a one-computer classroom
By the end of the workshop, each paticipant will
have a written plan for implementing an Internet-based activity or
project in his/her classroom.
