What makes a good Web Page?

  • Content
    - Does the page contain information that will be useful or relevant to your students?
  • Organization/ Navigation
    - Is the site arranged in a logical order?
    - Links, directory structure.
    - Is it easy to navigate through the site? (Navigation Bar)
  • Design
    - Colors, layout, graphics.
  • Performance
    - How fast do the pages load?
    - Too many graphics?
    - Avoid over use of "bells and whistles".
