Purpose Today's workshop
will serve as an introduction to various Internet applications and resources,
with specific emphasis on biology and earth science topics. Participants
will learn how to get in touch with on-line experts, how to find Internet-based
collaborative projects and keypals, and see examples of on-line student
published work and examples of real time data. Participants will be given
an opportunity to examine a variety of resources which will be valuable
in teaching a variety of topics.
