Hypothesize  -->  Conduct  -->  Analyze  -->  Compare  -->  Conclude The Process I. Develop a Hypothesis Students formulate a hypothesis prior to conducting the experiment. II. Conduct the Experiment Students from each class collect water samples from local fresh water sources. III. Analyze the Data Students identify the micro and macro organisms using microscopes, reference books, and the Internet. IV. Compare the Results - Unique & Compelling Students share their findings using the Internet via e-mail & class web pages. V. Determine a Conclusion - Unique & Compelling The participating classes develop conclusions based on the joint results.
