1.) Teachers either lead their students on a field trip to a local pond, river, etc. or bring fresh water samples to the class.

2.) This project is simply an enhanced method of presenting a traditional class experiment since many classes analyze water samples each year.

Example: Students from New Jersey took photos from their field trip to collect water samples. Take a look:
