Summit Middle School: Summit, New Jersey, USA

Summit Middle School is located in Summit New Jersey. Summit is a small city in the northern part of Union County. There are five elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. We have a YMCA and a YWCA. We have a community pool, an arboretum, an art center, a movie theater and youth center. We have a downtown where all the stores are. Our school has grades six, seven and eight. It looks like a castle. We are studying environmental science in seventh grade. We are studying a pond that is located in an inner courtyard of our school. The pond was put in about four years ago. There are four goldfish in the pond. We go out to study the pond and the plants that live near it. We used the pond to study food webs and now with the water project.
