Fleming County High School: Flemingsburg, Kentucky, USA

Greetings fellow water fellows

We are Fleming County High School located in Flemingsburg KY (Go Panthers!) Our school has 750 students grades 9 - 12. We are located in a rural area of northeasten KY. Many of us live on farms or have families who farm and we are very interested in the impact of agricultural, residential, and commercial endeavors on our water supply. We have a group at our school (The Fleming Creek Watershed Project) which has been monitoring the main watershed in the central part of the county for the past 3 years. They have been largely checking for evidence of Agricultural Pollutants such as Nitrates, Phosphates, pH, and Dissolved Oxygen. They also have data on temperature, hardness, Chlorides and other environmental factors. We are looking forward to gathering additional data and sharing it with other schools on the web.
