The baskets are quite big. I would say they are about half the size of an outdoor carbage can. But the pig was not in a basket. He was strapped to the back of the bike, on the place where you sometimes would carry an extra passenger. I really can't imagine how they got the pig strapped onto the bike, but he was lying on his side and a rope had been tied around him. He was strapped on just the way you strap a Christmas tree onto your car.
