We found it very interesting that another school in our district had the same project and had slightly different findings. For example, a few more average minutes of sunlight and temperatures were recorded. Based on the given data we found that the latitude dictates the amount of sunlight. Therefore the temperature is dependent on the amount of sunlight received. For example, Phoenix received 652 min. sunlight at an average temperature of 28.9 degrees C. Monroe in Evertt, Washington received 610 min.s of sunlight at an average temperature of 12 degrees C°. E-mail: darrekh@yahoo.com |
