Our school is a suburban school just outside of Washington, D.C. We have about 650 students in an Academy program and a French Immersion program. Our students come from a wide diversity of backgrounds and represent many foreign countries. Our Academy program features a full-time math teacher as well as a full-time science teacher with a science lab. One of the exciting features of this lab is a weather station hooked up to the Internet permanently. Data from the station is available to all who have Internet access.
Our fifth graders are studying solar energy this fall and look forward to gathering data to share with this project. We will be able to use the real-time data from our weather station.
Looking forward to working with you,
Dr. Gale
Science Coordinator
