Hi There,
We are the three 5th grade representatives from the
Josiah Haynes School in Sudbury, Massachusetts. We are
not labeled on the map, but Boston is and we are close to
that(42 1/3 *north latitude, and 71*West longitude). Right
now it is fall and usually sunny, but a brisk breeze. It is
freezing in the morning but warms up as the day
progresses. The leaves here at this time of year are
beautiful as they change colors. We are looking forward to
winter, and it has already snowed. It did not snow much
though; it all melted before it reached the ground. This year
Massachusetts set a record for our state;the hottest day in
October(80*s F)
Our favorite seasons are winter and summer. We enjoy
summer because of great weather, swimming, tennis, fun,
and best of all no school! We like winter because of snow
days, skiing, sledding, holidays, and especially snow!
Our elementary school is a great community. We are
the”Surfing Cows.” We know our name is strange,
because we wanted an exotic name.
There are 24 kids in our class, and 3 fifth classes. We
three like traveling and have visited many exotic places.
Such as, Alaska the Grand Canyon, the Bahamas , Paris,
France, and Bermuda. We are looking forward to
participating in this exciting event, and hope to to hear from
all over the world,
Adios Amigos,
Massachusetts(the Surfing Cows)
