Hello from West Elementary, Park Hills, MO, USA!
We are glad to send this message about our town. Our latitude is 90:31:05 W and our longitude is 37:51:15 N.
Our school has about 450 students in grades 3 through 5. It has about 40 teachers. There are 24 students in our class. Our grade is 4th grade. Our teacher is Mrs. Looney.
Our town was once known for lead mining, but we have found out that lead is poisonous. We are going to research what lead does to the body.
Our parents work anywhere from here in town to 70 miles North in St. Louis, MO.
Next week we'll collect our data by reading a thermometer and figuring the amount of daylight each day. We're looking forward to doing this project.
Later,
Mrs. Looney's Class
