We are a group of 8th graders at 7th street and Filmore in Phoenix, Az. Our school has appx. 1200 - 7th and 8th grade students. This particular class meets from 11:15a - 12:00p(before lunch). That is why we will be measuring the temperature. Our district is the oldest district in the valley. We are over 125 years old.

Our city is situated in a valley. We have very hot summer (45 degrees Celsius) with monsoons in July and August. Our winters are 15-20 degrees Celsius. Phoenix's Latitude is 33.5 degrees north and the longitude is 112 degrees north.
