Hello. We are a class of fourth grade students from San Antonio, Texas.

Our school is a medium size one in a suburban setting. One of the things that makes our school unique is that we have a mix of many kinds of students. We have many students with special needs and we all benefit from being with them. We have learned to be accepting of all kinds of people.

San Antonio is known for it's beautiful River Walk-a shopping and dining area along the San Antonio River which runs through down town. Most of the restaurants have indoor and outdoor seating. Fiesta is also big in our town in May. We have an amazing river parade and a battle of flowers parade among the many festivities. We get a day off school to attend the Battle of Flowers Parade!

We also have a lot of history. The Alamo is here along with other missions built by the first Spanish explorers in the New World.

Boy, do we know about temperature! We have hot weather most of the time. It seems like we have 2 weeks of spring, 2 weeks of fall, 1 week of winter, and the rest SUMMER! It's the middle of October and we are still running our air conditioners.

We are very interested in the weather project and can't wait to participate.
