Hoi (Dutch for hey),
We are a ninth grade class from the American International School of Rotterdam, which is located in the city of Rotterdam. In our class, there are seven different nationalities, and involving the whole school there are thirty-three different nationalities. Since we have many difference countries, the cultures are very diverse.
Rotterdam is a modern city and filled with many different backrounds. In the city of Rotterdam itself there is a population of 600,000. Holland is known for its wind mills and fabulous selection and production of cheeses. The largest port in the world is also here. More specifically, we are located at a latitude of 51.5N degrees, and a longitude of 4.27E.
Our group is looking forward to participating in this project about the weather with you from here in Rotterdam.
Sincerely,
The Ninth Grade Class of AISR

Hola,
Over here we take Spanish language in school we can also take French but I haven't yet. Currently the daytime temperature ranges from 50's to 80's and the night time temperatures can go below freezing. What are the days like there? Our leaves are changing color due to the fall season. Do you have leaves that change color? The weather this time of the year can change drastically. One day it can be sunny and warm and the next it can snow! Do you have snow there?

Hoi to you to,
We are a seventh grade class from Kippa-Ring State School, which is located in the Redcliffe Peninsula in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. We are mostly all Australian but we get the occasional New Zealander, Chinese or someone else from a different part of the world.
I just want to know if you play sport against other schools? We do. We play Basketball, Cricket, Archery, Fishing and Dance in the summer and we play Rugby League, Tennis, Soccer, Dance and Netball.
Is it hard to work with different people from different nationalities?
I think it would be very hard but I’d get used to it. What subjects do you mainly study and what is your favourite subject?
Our school has a population of approximately 500 students and our school has 5 ovals, a computer lab, a tuckshop, a bookshop, an early childhood room, a hall, a library, a staff room, a photocopying room, a board meeting room and a learning support room. Our Latitude is 27° 28 s our Longitude is 153° 2 e
I can’t wait to hear from you
