Hello Diocen school,
My name is Kara I go to Monroe Elementary in Everett Washington home of rain and earthquakes. Last February Seattle had a big earthquake it was a 7.6 .Do you have earthquakes ? My school has grades Kindergarten trough 5th grade. Next year I will be going to a different school. Do you have to wear uniforms ? We don't but sometimes I wish I did because I can't get up in the morning. My class has a total of 25 kids . My teachers name is Mrs. Husker. My principles name is Mr. Holzman he is new to our school. We mostly do the same sports as you. I think the most popular sport in our school is soccer. The weather in Seattle is Rainy Cold and cloudy but it never really is sunny. The Temperature is about 40F to 50 F. In the summer it sunny and the temperature is 60 to 70.

Hi Kara.

My name is Helen. I go to Diocesan School in New Zealand. Yes we do have earthquakes but they are not very common and the last big one we had was something like 7-8.3 on the Richter Scale. That was about 50-60 years ago. That happened in Napier, in the North Island of New Zealand. We have classes of 28 at our school and our science teacher is called Mrs MacDonald and she is from America as well. Our principal is called Mrs Thompson and we don't see her all that much. Anyway, I hope that this e-mail has answered your question.

From Helen aka. Garfield.
