We are a group of 6th grade students that attend Nadaburg Elementary School. We are located in the town of Wittmann, Arizona. Our school is a K-8 and preschool campus and is rather small; we have 500 students and 17 classrooms. There are 20 students that are in our classroom.
Our town is in the Sonoran Desert with the location of 33:46N and 112:31W. During the winter it is usually 60 degrees Fahrenheit or around 16 degrees Celsius. We just started our springtime season and it is about 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit or 30 degrees Celsius. In the summer it is very hot and temperatures are 110 degrees Fahrenheit or 43 degrees Celsius.
Our town is known for farming and ranching. If you would like to learn more about our school you are welcome to go to our web site at www.geocities.com/nadaburgschool. You can see a picture of one of the original buildings, a little red schoolhouse, which was built in 1921 and is still used as a classroom today.
We are looking forward to participating in this project with all the different schools.
