We are the only 4th grade class which consists of 11 boys and 5 girls at Immaculate Conception School in Ithaca, NY.

Classes at our school range from PreK through the 8th grade and a total of approximately 200 students.

Ithaca is located at 42.4 lattitude and -76.5 longitude. Our small city is in the south central part of the state. We are about 4 hours west of New York City and less than an hour north of the Pennsylvania border.

Most people have heard of Ithaca, NY because Cornell University is here. It's neat having such a great university here because there are people from all over the world attending or teaching at Cornell and there is always a variety of things going on.

It's a really beautiful area. There are a lot of gorges and waterfalls, plus we are situated on Cayuga Lake which is one of the Finger Lakes.

The weather isn't the best, but that definitely makes us appreciate the warm sunny days when we get them! It will be really interesting to see where we fit in regarding minutes/hours of sunlight!

Take Care!

4th Grade @ I.C.S.
