Schallenberger School

Hi! We're a class of third and fourth graders at Schallenberger School. We have nine 3rd graders and eleven 4th graders. We live in San Jose, California. Our latitude is 38 degrees North latitude and 125 West longitude. We are about 1 hour south of San Francisco. We are 30 minutes away from the Pacific Ocean. Our weather doesn't change much. It is not too hot or too cold. On Halloween our daytime temperature was 80 degrees. We think El Nino is going to cause flooding here like it did about 4 years ago.

We live in "Silicon Valley". Most of the companies around here are computer companies like Apple Computer, Hewlett Packard, IBM and Adobe. San Jose is a fairly big city with lots to do. We have the San Jose Sharks NHL team here. Great America amusement park is near by. We have several museums that are fun for kids.

We like to play sports, watch TV, and play with our friends. We look forward to learning more about everyone.
