The weather has been mild, although we just had a couple minor snow storms this past weekend. We read a lot (especially on snow days!!!). We like playing hockey, football, basketball, and sliding down snowy hills.
We are located at 42° 15' N and 71° 48' W. Check out our HOMEPAGE: http://nis.accel.worc.k12.ma.us/

Our school is a project based school with multi-age groupding. This means that people of different ages are in the same classroom, instead of just one grade. We have students of all different races, too. We are a magnent school which means students from all over the city of Worcester can take a bus to our school and choose to go to school here. We have 560 students in our school from preschool through 12th grade.

We don't have traditional classes, instead we have math, writing and projects classes. Our project class intgrates different work. In our project this cycle we are studying racism and prejudice. We are also reading Journey to Jo'Berg and Roll of Thunder to explore racism and prejudice in both South Africa and North America. We would love to hear from classes in the deep south and in South Africa.
