We live in Puerto Rico and our environment is tropical, because Puerto Rico is one of the Caribbean’s Islands.

 Level K

In our square we found ants, beetles, lizards, bush, grass, tree, weeds, dirt, metal, paper, small rocks, logs and glass.

We’re going to compare our square with the square of A. J. Ferrell Center of Language Exploration and GI, on Tampa, Florida.  The similarities between our schools are: ants, beetles, tree, weed, grass, dirt, metal, paper and small rocks.  Our differences are that we found lizards and bush and they found snail, spider, flying bugs, worm, sand and plastic.

The possible reasons for similarities are because we live in the same planet.  The differences are because we live in different countries and our environments are different too. 

We learned that our environment is wonderful and we have to share with others.  We have to maintain our planet clean of trash.

Level 1

In our square we found ants, spider, bush that have thorns, tree, dirt, metal, paper, small rocks, a knife, a dish and a pencil.

We’re going to compare our square with the square of Alta Vista Elementary, Los Gatos, CA.  The similarities between our schools are: ants, spiders, trees, dirt and small rocks.  Our differences are that we found bush, metal and paper and they found beetles, flying bugs, worms, grass, weed, big rocks and mud.

The possible reasons for similarities are because we live in the same planet.  The differences are because our environments are different. 

We learned that our planet has trash and we are responsible to clean up and maintain it. 

 Level 3

In our square we found ants, beetle, flying bugs, frog, lizards, spider, bush with thorns, grass, tree, weed, dirt, metal, mud, paper, plastic, small rocks, a knife, a dish and bags.

We’re going to compare our square with the square of Indian Fields Elementary School, Dayton, NJ.  The similarities between our schools are: flying bugs, spiders, beetle, grass, tree, bush, weed, dirt, metal, paper, plastic and small rocks.  Our differences are that we found ants, frog, lizard and mud and they found worm and mushroom (fungus).

The possible reasons for similarities are because we live in the same planet.  The differences are because we are in different places.

We learned that we can found similar trees, insects also trash in different places of the world.
