We found red ants crawling all over the dirt, grass, and blacktop. They were upset because people were disturbing their home. The red ladybug had spots and it was crawling through the grass. We also found a yellow jacket flying away from us. We had to make sure it didn't come near us because some of us are allergic. The brown snail looked a little bit green. It was slithering slowly. Next, we saw a spider in it's web. The fat and long worm was sliding through the mud.

We have several red, white, and pink rose bushes. We have short, green grass that gets mowed every week by the large lawn mower. We were in shock that we found mushrooms on our playground area. We thought they are only found in grocery stores. We have very tall trees that have been around for many years. Right now they have green, yellow, and red leaves. But, there are some dead brown ones on the ground. We have yellow dandelion weeds and those white ones where you blow on them to make a wish.

We have brown and soft dirt near the grass and blacktop areas. Unfortunately we found some soda (coke) cans and plastic water bottles on the grass area. We are going to remind our school to recycle them instead of throwing them on the ground. The mud we found was in the grass. Maybe it was muddy because the school over watered it. Our class found some shredded up paper that student's left on the ground. We also found bags from fast food restaurants. We are so sad that we found these because we don't want to litter the Earth. Last, we found both round and pointy small rocks. The rocks were different colors, like gray, black, white, and other colors.
