They were interesting! We also found centipedes, millipedes, slugs, daddly long legs (harvestmen, spiders, katydids and cicadas. There were lots of insects under the piles of sticks.

The trees were full of insects and other kinds of life. They still had lots of green leaves, and were very tall. The grass was thick and tall.
