We found red ants, a spider which was very small, gnats that were flying around. and a mosquito. The area we studied was a grassy area near our playground. Up in a tree we looked at we saw a "wheel bug".

In our square, we found dandelions, little bluestem grass, fescue, grass, purple and white clover, a redbud tree, small white mushrooms or toad stools, foxtails, and plantain.

The non living items we found included dead sticks, leaves, and bark. A dead roly poly that was caught in a spider web, small white feather, and red bud seeds
