We observed ants crawling all over the ground. A few lizards crept out from small holes. The spider we observed was fairly large and red. Under a large rock, there were many ants,baby cockroaches, and several rolly pollies. A green spider was hanging from a tree branch. Flying dragonflies and some other wierd looking black bugs that we were unable to identify.

The trees we observed were Live Oaks and Cedar. In one area, we observed mushrooms growing in the dead bark of a tree. Our grass was a mix of dead, dry sprigs and some live, green bermuda grass. Dandelions and sticker weeds were observed.

Large and small rocks were discovered as we observed. Our soil is mainly clay and dried up due to the drought. Some trash such as paper bits and even a coffee cup was noticed. Dead leaves lay around like a blanket comforting the grass.
