Dear Mr. President,

Our world has many earthquakes and volcanoes.  The most recent earthquakes are occurring along the edge of countries.  A great example, California, leads America in earthquakes every year due to the fact it is on the west coast.  However, not many earthquakes occur on the east coast. I would say that ninety percent of the earthquakes happen near the Pacific Rim.  Therefore, people who live on or near the Pacific Rim are prone to earthquakes.  Volcanoes and earthquakes have some sort of a relationship.  Most earthquakes and volcanoes happen close or right near each other.  Also we have a theory that the power of an earthquake can cause an eruption of a volcano near by.  That is why we think there might be some connection between the two.  However, some volcanoes have nothing to do with earthquakes.  Plates cause earthquakes.  The rubbing of to different plates is the cause of an earthquake.  If you need any more information, you contact us A.S.A.P.  We will be happy to assist you in any of your work.  We’re sorry we have toaken up your time.  Now get back to your day now, OKAY!

                                      Sincerely,

                                      Christian G.
