Greetings from Tredyffrin/Easttown Middle School. Our school is located in Berwyn, in southeastern Pennsylvania. It is next to Valley Forge National Historic Park and 17 miles west of Philadelphia. Our coordinates are 42 2 30 North and 75 27 15 West. It is a suburban community with many small and large shopping centers. It also has many offices located in campus style industrial parks.

Our school district has five elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. We recently renovated all the elementary schools and have almost completed the renovations at the two middle schools. We are very fortunate to have four computer labs in our middle school and each teacher has a computer with internet access in the classroom.

T/E Middle houses grades five through eight, with about 200 students in each grade. There are many sports and activities for students. We have football, soccer, field hockey, track, lacross, wrestling, basketvall, volleyvall, baseball, and softball. We also have an after school sports program for fifth and sixth graders. We have chours, orchestra, band, bell choir, and Jazz band.

We have eight sections of eighth grade science participating in this survey. Our study of genetics began in early April so we are just now conducting our surveys. We are looking forward to the results of this survey.
