Greetings everyone from Demarest Middle School! We're located in Demarest, New Jersey at 40N and 73W. Our school currently has students from grade 6 through 8. However, next year the fifth graders will be joining us. We have less than 300 students, but a lot of spirit! We're involved in many in-school and extra curricular activities. Between track, student council, basketball, volleyball, band, jazz band etc., there seems to always be something available to kep one busy! However, if these activites don't satisfy your interests, our town offers many opportunities as well, such as soccer. The nice thing about being a small school is the sense of closeness and community we share.

The results you'll see from our school are from our seventh graders. They participated in the survey in science class. They've had a busy year studying various life science topics, particularly the rainforest. After viewing simulated rainforests at the Bronx Zoo and Botanical Gardens in New York, they are now ceating their own!

We hope everyone has a great end of the school year and look forward to seeing everyone's data
