Inherited genetic traits

Can a blond haired child come from parents that have black hair and light brown hair? Also, other traits that I have that my parents do not: very large thumbs, large build, big eyes (both parents and siblings have small set eyes), long eyelashes, very full lips (bothe parents and siblings have thin lips). I do not believe that my father is my biological father. I would like to know of helpful resources or sites that could help me with inherited genetic traits that are easy to understand.
