Hello to all the participants! This letter is from Bolivar-Richburg High School, located in Bolivar, NY. This school is located in a very rural area of New York State, approximately 6 hours from New York City. Our location is about 42 degrees north, 78 degrees west. Our small community has one uni-mart (convenient store), one traffic light, and about 2000 residents. We are surrounded by rolling hills of evergreen and maple trees, natural gas wells, and are proud hosts of a volunteer fireman's convention every four years. Our school has 59 students in the current senior class. We are in the process of building a state of the art athletic facility. Personally our class of six students (half seniors, half juniors) enjoy listening to Ricky Martin, playing guitar, volleyball, and skiing, snowboarding, aggresive skateboarding, and watching TV. We plan to go to college to study topics such as sports medicine, general medicine, pediatrics, optometry, and forensics. Hope you enjoy learning about us as we take part in this survey.
