Hi,
Our class has some questions about this project. First, we are wondering why some dominant traits are not as common as others. We certainly don't have many student who have white forelocks! Second, we'd like to know if a white forelock can also be blonde, if so, we do have one person out of 97 who has one. Is it possibly because some dominant genes are more rare than others, or could it be because of the number of students we sampled? Third, it sometimes seems difficult to tell whether or not an individual has a straight thumb or pinky, there seem to be a lot of variations on the theme. Does this make data collection unreliable at times?
Thanks,
