A Letter of Introduction from: Bergen County Career Academies, 200 Hackensack Ave. Hackensack NJ 07601

Greeting, We are Freshman taking biology at the Bergen County Academies, in Hackensack NJ. The Academies accept students from the seventy municipalities that make up Bergen County. Hackensack, the county seat for Bergen, is a suburb of New York City and our coordinates are North 40 degrees 45.148 minutes and West 74 degrees 02.119 minutes (We have a pilot on staff that determined the coordinates for us).

Because we are a public magnet school we have a very diverse student body. There are approximately 650 students in our school. Our school colors are black and gold and our mascot is the Knight.

We are well known for our high technology project driven curriculum, and our Math and Envirothon Teams have won several awards. We hope to be analyzing the data from this project with a software program called Table Top, and we are looking forward to seeing every ones results.
