Dear Sue,

So nice to hear about you and your school.

I'm very impressed with your analysis of your results. You've done exactly what I would have hoped a scientist would do. You and your students noticed an apparent discrepancy in the results (of your survey) and developed an hypothesis to explain those results. You're right on target, because one of the objectives involves just this situation: dominant trait appears to be less frequent than the recessive.

Have you tried downloading the unchecked data yet? Let me know if I can assist you in doing this.

With respect to the numbers of individuals exhibiting color blindness, have you checked the "useful links" page? It can be accessed by clicking on "useful links" on the main page. Among the links there are ones which include information about the expected frequencies of color blindness in men and in women.

I'll look forward to seeing what you decide about the results.

Thanks for participating.

Neil Holzman, Project Leader
