Lesson 1: Develop a Hypothesis
Begin here FIRST.
Lesson 2: Introduce your Class
Each class will submit a Letter of Introduction to the Discussion Area.
Lesson 3: Complete the Water Sampling Tests
Students will conduct the required / optional water sampling tests.
Lesson 4: Analyze the Results
Students will analyze their water quality test results, submit their findings to the Project Data section of this web site, and compare the their findings with the other participating schools.
Lesson 5: Draw your Conclusions
Students will write and submit a Final Report describing what they learned from this project to the Discussion Area.

Assessment Suggestions
Each of the activities has a section on assessment located at the bottom of each page that contains individual assessment suggestions to evaluate the students' understanding of each of the corresponding objectives.

Activity 5: Draw your Conclusions may be used to assess to what degree the students have achieved the learning objectives for the entire Take a Dip project. You may need to change the suggested format and requirements to match the material and objectives for the lessons that you covered and the equipment that is available.
