Instructions
  1. Read the Project Requirements if you have not already done so. 
  2. Develop a hypothesis for the project. Student should suggest answers to the question that can be tested. (Does fresh water all over the world have the same organisms?) 
  3. Collect the samples. Click here for collection guidelines and background information for the teacher.
  4. Do the activity. Return to Teacher Area for lesson plans.
  5. Submit your data to the project leader for posting in the Student Area.
  6. Analyze the data reported by all participants. Was your hypothesis correct? 
  7. Submit a Final Report or Conclusions to the Discussion Area.
