We are a group of 3^rd and 4^th graders.

Our hypothesis: Not all pond creatures will be the same because of the different climates,

Materials: Eye dropper, spoon, magnifying glass, microscope, glass slides for the microscope.

Procedure:

We spent about 40 minutes identifying macroinvertibrates.

We spent about 20 minutes writing the report.

Results:

We found:

3 Scuds

2 Damselfly Nymphs

2 Daphnia

1 Dragonfly Nymph

1 Flatworm

1 Water Flea

Other unidentified water beetles.

We had fun!
