Carver school Environmental science club members predicted that pond
organisms would be different in various parts of the world. We studied
a pond water sample from a pond in Bloomfield, NJ. We found some
interesting stuff. The living things included waterfleas, algae, small
fish, worms, scuds, some midge larva, damselfly nymph, and snails. We
also found garbage. After reading the results of some other
participants, we concluded that our hypothesis is incorrect. Pond
organisms are basically the same throughout the world. Thank you for
the opportunity to participate in this project.
Sincerely,
Students from Carver Environmental Science Club
