Earthquake in Taiwan

Posted by Mercedes McKay on Tuesday, 21 September 1999, at 10:41 a.m.

Greetings to all Project Participants:

Yesterday an earthquake of magitude 7.6 hit Taiwan, the home of one of the collaborative partners in this project. A 9th grade physical science class from the

Kaohsiung American School in Kaohsiung, Taiwan had registered for the project and was very excited about participating in the experiment. Our thoughts are with the

people in Taiwan now who are just trying to recover from this devasting event.
