What Color is My Air?

  --> Where can air pollution be found?

In this activity, you will conduct a primary investigation about air quality by investigating one example pollutant, ozone. You will need a copy of the Student Worksheet.

Procedure

  1. Access the Air Quality Index . Either print a copy of the web page or obtain a copy from your teacher and store it in a safe, convenient place. The Air Quality Guide will be needed for all the lessons.

  2. Access the Air Quality Map.

  3. After studying the map and the Air Quality Index , answer the questions on the Student Worksheet.
